Terms of Service

Effective October 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Cirkit LLC (“Cirkit”, “we”) for using Cirkit at cirkit.us. By using Cirkit you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Cirkit for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

1. Who can use Cirkit

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at privacy@cirkit.us if you think someone else has used it.

3. Workspaces and sharing

A team workspace's owner controls it: who is invited, their roles, and its content. Members can see and change its projects according to their role. View-only links let anyone who has them view a project until the link expires or is turned off, so share them with care.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the files and information you put into Cirkit. You give Cirkit LLC permission to store, copy, process, display and send your content (including to our service providers, as described in the Privacy Policy) only as needed to provide Cirkit to you and the people you share it with. This permission ends when your content is deleted, apart from backups that are removed soon after.

You confirm that you have the right to upload your content and to send the emails you forward to an email bot, including any permission you need from your employer or clients for confidential designs.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Cirkit to:

• break the law, or upload content you don't have the right to share;
• upload malware, or try to access accounts, workspaces or data that aren't yours;
• get around usage limits or security measures, or overload or disrupt the service;
• access Cirkit by automated means other than its own features, or resell it without our permission.

6. AI features and information from others

AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before relying on them, especially for safety-critical, high-voltage or medical designs. You're responsible for your design decisions. Part details, prices and datasheets come from suppliers and manufacturers; we don't guarantee they're accurate, and their own terms apply.

7. Early access, limits and changes

Cirkit is free during early access. Usage limits apply (for example to AI, storage, uploads and emails). We may change or remove features, and may introduce paid plans; we'll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Cirkit at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@cirkit.us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Cirkit or other people at risk; where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your content.

9. Disclaimer

Cirkit is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Cirkit will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important files.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Cirkit LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or designs. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cirkit is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against Cirkit LLC because of your content or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover the resulting costs, to the extent the law allows.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, though either of us may use small claims court where it applies.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or in Cirkit before significant changes take effect. Using Cirkit after they take effect means you accept them.
