AI that reads your schematic
Ask about the board: the assistant sees the page you're on, your BOM, your notes and the datasheets you attach.
Ask in the chat
- Click AI in the toolbar to open the chat for this project.
- Ask a question, e.g. "What sets U1's switching frequency?" It sees the current page, the BOM and the team's notes.
- Answers stream in; earlier chats are listed under Chats in this project. Chats are private to you.
Ask about one area
- Click Ask AI in the toolbar.
- Drag a box around the part of the circuit you're asking about.
- Ask your question in the chat: the AI gets a zoomed-in image of that area.
Ask about highlighted text
- With Select on, drag across text on the schematic (a net, a part).
- Choose Ask AI in the menu: the text is attached to your next question.
Your AI allowance
- Each account has a monthly AI allowance, which resets on the 1st. The chat shows how much is left.
- Reading datasheets and long conversations use more of it.
Tip
- What you send to the AI isn't used to train AI models. View-only links and the demo don't include AI.
