Issues and the email bot
CC the workspace's email bot on a debug thread, and Cirkit files it as an issue with a dated summary.
Find your bot address
- Open the workspace menu, then Workspace settings….
- Copy the address under Email bot. Each workspace has its own.
File emails as issues
- CC the bot address on an email thread about a problem, or forward a thread to it.
- Cirkit reads it, files it into the right project (or a new issue), and keeps a summary of the problem, what was tried and the solution.
- Replies in that thread are added to the same issue automatically.
Tip
- Members' emails are filed; replies from people outside the workspace are added only to threads a member already filed.
Work with issues
- Click Issues on the Projects page (or in the editor's toolbar) to see them; search and filter by workspace, project and status.
- Open one to read its summary and emails. Mark it Solved when it's fixed.
- Use the issue's menu to Rename, Update summary with AI, Merge into another issue… or Delete issue….
- Move an email to another issue, or a new one, from the email's menu.
Create an issue by hand
- On the Issues page, click + New issue (or use the button at the top of the Issues panel in a project). Give it a title and a project.
- Later emails about it can be added to it.
